Lambton Home Building Centre is Petrolia’s own locally owned building supply company. Our current location on Progress Drive has been home to a lumberyard for the past 25 years, and current owners Dave and Kristen Van Stempvoort are committed to continuing that tradition of service in the years ahead.
Our goal is to help our customers with their projects, whatever they might be. Whether you are a contractor building a house, a farmer building a shed, or a home-owner working on a deck – we want to help you complete your project.
Please take a moment to explore our website and learn more about who we are and what we do.
Lambton HBC exists to serve the people of Petrolia and surrounding areas. We appreciate the support we receive from local residents and businesses, and we do what we can to support others within our locale.
In addition, we support specific projects in our area by providing volunteer time and materials to help those projects be completed.
Petrolia has had a lumberyard at the corner of Oil Heritage and Progress since the late 1980s, when it was known as Lumberjack. In 2007 the business joined the Home Hardware banner, and in 2015 Dave and Kristen Van Stempvoort purchased the operation.
Historically, our strength has been in agricultural buildings and steel cladding. While we continue to supply those projects, we also supply windows, siding and decking as well as interior finishings.
